Landscape mode, it is awful! Can I split it?

There is so much wasted retail space in landscape mode I avoid using it as much as possible. But I would like to be able to find some way to make it usable. I am not fond of touch screens, but I use it the most since it is the most efficient. Swype and the touchscreen is good, but I would like to use my keyboard sometimes. It is just a waste though.

Wondering if there is a browser or... hey anything that can split the screen and make use of the 50% wasted right side. I don't think there is anything global to do that.

What wasted space are you referring to? I don't see anything close to 50% of the screen wasted in landscape.

yea, lets see a screenshot... are you saying that the keyboard is eating up the space because if it was any smaller it would be useless. I always use my physical qwerty in landscape for this reason...

I'm saying most of the horizontal space isn't being used. Most sites look okay in portrait, but in landscape it is mostly empty space.
Is there a setting I can use to 'fix it' or do I have to cope with it?

Are you talking about while in the browser? If so, go to settings/user agent/android. I think it will look better for you then.

Good luck.

Thanks! The android mode was really good.

It just sucks that some of the pages are so awfully formatted. I tried different browsers like dolphin and xscope, but the stock one still seems to be the best with the most options. It isn't bad for stock, its actually excellent.

I think the best program to use to view forums is tapatalk, but not everything I have supports it.
