K-9 Mail App Question

I downloaded K-9 Mail and wanted to give it a try because I have heard a lot of good things about it and while it works nice, there is one thing that annoys me and I can't figured it out.

It doesn't group messages together by contact like my gmail app does (also how gmail does from gmail.com).

I went through all my options and can't figure out if there is a setting which will fix that. I don't like having 5 messages in a row in the folder from the same person because we were emailing back and forth. I'd rather have them have 1 contact with all the messages in order on there.

Is there a way to change this or is this just how K-9 Mail is?

I think that the closest thing to that in K9 is to sort by sender.

You might want to try maildroid. I don't know, I've never used it.

Looks like that is not a feature they support from reading the link. Guess I'll have to uninstall for now. Thanks for the help aminaked.
