Just got a droid

I was always that guy who carried around one of those outdated dinosaur phones. I got a droid two days ago. I have to admit that I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it. I like it, but it's given me a few problems. Here's to hoping everything works out!

I was going to start a new thread about this, but I figured I'd give it a try here.

I'm having a problem with my contacts. I had all of my contacts moved over from my old phone. However, when I try to enter in a new contact, it won't show up in my contacts list. It says that it saved it, but I can't find it. What's really weird is that if I do a search and enter the full name of the contact, it will show up. But it will show up alone, not in my main contacts list. Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Search the forums and i'm quite sure you will get most if not all of your issues resolved.

There is a slight learning curve with this device and the members here have provided some excellent tips and advice on fixing common issues.

Yes in contacts hit the menu key/display options and make sure your contacts in Google are checked.
