And my contacts are gone...it said they could be resynced but how? Please please help...i knew these smartphones would be too smart for me :/

The way I did it was to go to your menu and click settings. Click the category that says "sync" and then sync your Facebook gmail and Twitter if you have all and they should reappear from one of those
