Congrats! You'll love it. I enjoy using my Pixel everyday. I've had it for awhile now and still can't believe how fluid of an experience it is compared to any other device I've had. That "new phone feel" doesn't go away and it's great.

I booted up my s7 edge the other day to use for media and boy that thing felt laggy. And I have animations and everything turned off hoping to speed things up. Still feels slow in comparison to my Pixel with default settings on.

Wow it has better sound then my Note 7! Getting the same Battery life as my Note 7 with my Always on Display on my Pixel XL!

That was my main knock against the Pixel when I first picked it up. No tap to screen on? Google remedied that pretty quick at least.

And I'm getting far better battery life than my s7 edge ever did. So wouldn't be surprised if you'll get even better than what the Note 7 was doing

Although some have had some complaints about the Pixels weak signal, drop calls and Bluetooth issue I can say after having the Google XL for 2 days days. I have had no issues at all. Strong signal and no dropped calls. I have been on the phone a lot today and been to other towns around me. The Town of Cary where I always got weak signals with my GNote 7. I did not have any drop calls and had about the same signal strength as the Note. I am really enjoying this phone so far. What really hooked me is for an single speaker this thing has Great sound with my music compared to the Note 7 and No issues with Bluetooth on my headphones or in my Acura MDX. No complaints after 48 hrs.

I drive a TLX and don't have any issues with bluetooth in the car either.
