Issues with my DX gmail

For some reason my gmail wont send any emails any more... i don't know why and its really bothering me. I need my email on my phone in case my professors email me while i'm at work.... any help would be appreciated.

Which ROM you on? Or are you stock rooted? Did you try going to settings>manage apps>all>gmail, clear cache and data? If that doesnt help, what have you changed since last time it did work>?

From the home screen: Menu/Settings/Applications/Manage Applications/All/Gmail/Clear Data

Give the gmail app a few minutes to re-sync and all should be good.

well that seemed to work so far. the next test will be to see if my professor emails back and tells me everything is ok lol. guess i'll have to constantly do that then.

I've been using the Gmail app exclusively for about 8 months now and I find that i have to Clear Data about once every month or so.

I have the it setup so that Google polls my pop3 accounts and pushes those emails to the gmail app too. It works really well for me.
