Hi i have exchanged my phone a week ago because it was having issues with my phone when someone called me i wouldnt be able to hear the ringtone at all, when they would call the ringtone on the speaker would sound like a whisper like if the speaker phone blew out or something. The new phone that i got it happened the same thing on Thanksgiving i missed 9 called because of it, i wasnt able to hear the ringtone again i would have to shut down the phone and turn it back on in order for it to work again, i tried exchanging it but the technitian at Verizon checked some settings and he said that my speaker was out of sync or something like that, and that if i have any other problems with it to come back and he would exchange it. I come back the next day because when i was on a phone call my phone froze on me stayed on a black screen and i had to do a battery pull in order for it to start working again, well after i explained all that to the technitian she said she would have to duplicate the problem in order for her to be able to exchange it, but i mean how can someone duplicate the problem infront of them if the phone does it at random. Then last night coming home from work i had no signal for about 1 hour someone beside me on the same network had all bars all the way i tried doing the *228 number to update the roaming and it said the phone was not activated, i mean this happened also on Black Friday everyone else had signal except me. I mean is this a good experience on the phone or what? i tried exchanging my phone 4 times already and they denied me because they need to duplicate the problem, not only that but the manager at the store said for me to restart my phone each morning, can you belive that crap? How am i going to restart my phone each time when if when i do that it erases all applications from my phone. The other issue i was trying to figure out is if anyone has been having problems with the screen on the phone when typing you hear a clicking sound like the back part of the screen that slides up is hitting the keyboard everytime when typing or pressing the return button, its getting very annoying I mean is that normal or just a manufacture defect?

Doesn't sound normal to me. But as for restarting it - the manager wasn't asking you to do a hard-reset everyday (which would delete everything). They were asking you to just turn the phone off...and then back on again - aka 'restarting'. I hope anyway, lol.

So if i return my phone ones because of an issue and this phone is having more issues would they be able to refund my money instead because I'm having such a ****ty experience with this phone?

you have to make sure your notifications are set to the same level as your ringer volume in settings/ringer volume.

thats why you are having this "issue." Make sure its checked off in the settings/

Yea both the media and ringtone settings were set to high, i just gave up on the phone.. i had such a ****ty experience with customer service trying to exchange phone because of so many calls dropped and i also verified from people that who tried calling me it would say to them that my phone had no service or was disconnected. I will just wait if the update fix anything at all or if a new phone arrives before December ends from what i was told from a verizon representative.
