Is there a way to turn off the Bluetooth prompt?

When I turn on Bluetooth on my S6, the window appears that starts scanning for devices and states "Your device is currently visible blah blah blah..." Is there a way to shut that off? I just want Bluetooth turned on and that's it. No prompt to scan, no "warning", etc. Just turn it on and connect to whatever device I already have it paired with.
