Is there a way to test if my battery is good?

I can live with the fact that my battery will not last forever and may need to get a new one, but how do I know if I do need a new one.

My battery does an ok job of working, but is there a way to tell if it is working 100% efficient. I would gladly buy a new one if I knew mine was even slightly bad just to give me that little extra charge during the day.

For what it's worth you can dial *#*#4636#*#* and there's info about battery health.

Is that a Verizon thing or something, I've never heard of dialing something like that.

Spare Parts (in the market) also has battery information. Free download. Nice app.

It doesn't dial out. It just shows the phone's diagnostic screen. Spare Parts is an app that shows the same information.
