T toejam New Member Nov 14, 2009 #3 1. open the messaging widget 2.open the menu (left of the Home icon at the bottom of your Droid) 3.open settings 4.Scroll down to notifications 5. make sure that has a green checkmark (touch it to toggle on/off) Now when you get a text it will appear in the top status bar, just touch it and scroll your finger down to show it.

OP OP B Big D Member Nov 14, 2009 #10 I just loaded up Handcent and it looks really cool so far. Love the voice-to-text option. Could someone explain the need for both HC and SMS popup? Thanks gang.
