Yet another source which means we might see HTC Thunderbolt to be released for sale by Verizon Wireless on February 24th, 2011. Can't wait for it.

I didn't see any "source". It looked like another place you can "vote" or predict when YOU think it's coming. No?

The 24th is in 2 days. If verizon is going to sell it then, they would've told us. They told us about Febuary 10th for the iphone weeks in advance. They aren't just going to open there doors one day and say "oh by the way, the thunderbolts out. Suprised you didn't I" I personally think the longer they wait, the better. My upgrades late march/ early april and I dont want the price of 4g to be raised by then.

That's because the iPhone is hype machine 9000 and the Thunderbolt is an Android fan's top tier phone. One appeals to the masses purely on principle and the other one will get a very small group of people saying "OH GOD DAY ONE PURCHASE" and everybody else saying "It looks nice".

No, they wouldn't. They'd start selling it and emphasize 4G in every commercial, like they do now. I've never actually seen a phone commercial with a launch date, even some of the Verizon iPhone commercials.
