Installing 2.1 on Droids

Before everyone starts *****ing, I know 2.1 isn't out yet. I also know that no definitive date has been announced.

But when it does come out, how do I install it on my Droid. This is my first smart phone, so I'm not 100% with everything yet. Do I need to take it to a Verizon Store, or will it download over the network automatically?

It's been a month now, I've lost hope of getting this update anytime soon. This is just crazy......

Dont worry, When 2.1 is available on our phones, we will see a notification on the top info bar telling us there is an update available. Just wait do the update for a time you will not be using your phone for a short time. Think of it like a windows update (but a good experience) Well Thats how the 2.0 and .1 updates went. And both went quick and smooth.
I Cant wait for 2.1 either!! C'mon Verizon and Motorola we are waiting on you...
