Incredible2 random volume adjustments

My incredible2 randomly adjusts the volumes when the volume buttons are not being pressed. The volume popup menu displays either the Ringer Volume or Media Volume and then adjusts it even when the side volume rocker button is not being pressed. Any ideas for fixing this?
