Incredible Media Audio Plantronics Voyager PRO

New to the Incredible, Verizon 2.1

I have just received my Plantronics Voyager PRO, which the specs say supports HandsFree V1.5, Headset V1.1 Profiles.

Should that allow me to send media audio to the headset?

When I pair the BT, and check the settings options, it only shows phone, and not media. Hopefully I didnt spend $70 on a headset that doesn't support media audio.

Negative, the profile you need is called A2DP

I am aware of A2DP for stereo bluetooth. What I don't understand is how we seem to have taken a step backwards. My headset profile bluetooth works fine for media audio with a winmobile phone.

I would like to be able to stream media audio to a headset that uses one ear only and don't understand why they can't do it with android.
