Incredible 4G stuck in HBOOT screen -- Help !!!

My Incredible 4G is stuck in the HBOOT screen. When first powering on a bunch of image missing errors comes up and then it gets stuck in the HBOOT screen. The volume button moves me around the different options but the power button does nothing.

Could my simm card be fried ??

What can I do to fix this ??

No the phone was not rooted. This phone was in the same state as when new and has never been rooted.

In that case I would return it as a warranty issue. The Sim card shouldn't have anything to do with the boot process so it probably isn't that. If you are just constantly booting into the hboot screen, return it for a replacement. Not worth the hassle to try and fix it.
