In vibrate mode..

First let me say hello! This is my first post and I am new to the Droid X and WOW, so much to learn!

Seeking assistance. I need to put the droid on vibrate during the day at work. However, I need to find a widget or setting that will hopefully give me multiple vibrates rather than the single one I get now. Any suggestions?

Thank you

Not sure what you mean by multiple vibrates. Either you want something like buzz buzz buzz instead of one long buzz, or something that will periodically remind you of a missed notification. If it's the latter, I think there's a number of apps that can do that for you. I only use SMS Popup that does that for texts, but that's because I don't talk much or have that important of emails or FB notifications that I'd need to check right away.

PS. Welcome to Droid Forums!

I found the SMS pop up and it has a selection of settings, thank you! At work, I can't have it chime when text comes in so hope this does.

Did a little research for ya, in case you want more than just reminders on texts.

Missed Reminders by Denis Solonenko works for missed calls, Gmail, SMS and MMS messages. You can individually set each one to your own preference (interval between reminders, vibrate, LED blink, how many times it should remind you, etc)

Missed Call by Anno works the same way for texts and missed calls, but also allows ou to tweak notifications regarding Airplane mode, low battery, Bluetooth, applications, and is working on getting Calendar notifications to completely work.

Thirdly, Easy Reminder will remind you on texts and missed calls, has easy to understand settings, and will even disable itself during certain times (say you don't want your notifications to go off every 5 minutes overnight)

These are just the first few I've found, and I'm sure there's way more out there. Much like SMS Popup, I'm sure other apps related to things (Handcent or ChompSMS) will have their own notification settings as well.
