in pittsburgh...constant switching between 3g and 1x

What's the dealio with this ****? Sometimes its blazing fast then bam it halts. I've done *228 options one and two no real luck

Signal isnt that great either, my daughter was once standing on a chair raising her arm up to get signal, I stood there laughing. Now that I have a cell I guess I'm getting that last laugh. :icon_eek:

yea... i live in ny and in my apt, where i typically have good reception on other phones... i can literally watch my reception JUMP all over the place, from full 4 bars of 3g, down to 2 bars, no service, 2 bars of 1x, then back to 4 bars of 3g... all while sitting on my couch and watching it happen... no movement...

super weird.. haven't tried the *228 yet.. after rooting noticed that speeds have kinda increased, but it's still doing the jumping.
