My droid 2 is having problems, and my brand new one should be here tomorrow-tuesday.
Will all my apps and data come back on my new phone when i sign into my google account?

The apps you will have to redownload. Contacts should come right back I think when you sign into your phone with your google account.

Once you sign into your Google account after activation, it will ask you if you want to sync everything with your phone. Just make sure the box is ticked and you should be good to go!


On the other hand, if you just wanted to use your Gmail account for your apps, you can always back-up your contacts to your SD Card.
