Where do I download Swype? Everyone tells me it's amazing and I'd like to try it, but I can't find a place to download a working version. All help appreciated.

At their site it says the Swype Beta is closed. Swype | Text Input for Screens

Maybe somebody has a file.

For some people you need to do the following:
longpress on the textbox and change the input mode to the android keyboard. Then repeat and change it back to the Swype keyboard.

I've also gone into settings/apps/manage apps/swype/force stop

Some have to do this each reboot. I have to do it multiple times a day. Its a beta. It worked great before and I hope it will again.

I suggest going through the tutorials. Greatly increases your swype productivity.
