im having some issues

ok, im trying to unlock my droid A855, and every one on this forum has one of two ways, its using qpst, or cdma workshop. i have both of those installed, and i am trying to emulate a com port by using HW vsp. i can get the hw vsp to work, and emulate the port, but i cannot for the life of me link it to any of my usb ports, any ideas?

droid x does has stopped email (hotmail) notifications icon. I was getting audio and visual notificationsfor hotmail for 3 wks ( new) and since Sunday it has stopped. I am able to continue getting my gmail notifications but no hotmail! What can I do?
