I wonder this too. It seems that there has been a huge spike in "news" websites that are nothing more than click bait. That said I'm not sure if this site is one of them or not. I always figured Google leaned more on the libertarian side because they make android so open for the community, guess I was wrong.
A Bloomberg article inspired this according to the search results I found. If we boycotted every company that takes a stance on something we don't like, we'd never leave the house. I am a firm believer in the 2nd Amendment, and don't feel a "boycott" will be effective at all. The article I found sort of sums it all up.
It is on the border but the reason I let it go is because a few staff members posted in here. This is definitely a short leash thread but as long as it do not get into the realm of bashing one party or the other I can see letting it ride as it is Google related.
