i wanna read my book....

I downloaded a book to my Droid. It said it was in a PDF but I have looked all over and can't find it on the phone. The only way I can read it is to download it again so it will pop up in the notifications. Any clue how to find it?

I think this is one oversight by the Android developers. There is no native way to get to your download folder without going back to the browser and going through the menu to see your past downloads.

Get Astro file manager from the market and you can browse your SD card. As backnblack said, there is a folder on the card called downloads and all things from the browser go in there.

edit - I might be wrong about everything going into the downloads folder. Seems I have had things download outside that folder, just in the main root of the card (/sdcard). So it will be in one of 2 places, the download folder, check there first, or in the main root (home) on the card.

Any pdf file can be read on the Droid. Here are some free books in pdf format. Im sure there are tons of other places to get them too
