I screwed up my Droid OG

I loaded the Jelly Bean Rom last week, but had too much trouble, and it was lagging badly. I tried to reflash it back to stock with RSD lite and thought I had it but it keeps booting into Recovery but will not read the SD card or allow me to do anything other than wipe data and cache. I am trying to get back to RSD lite but it says the battery is too low and it seems it wont charge without booting into a ROM. It also appears I have no roms loaded. How can I charge my Motorola Droid without booting it into a ROM? I'm sure if I could get it back to bootloader with a battery I can figure a way to load a ROM or sbrecovery back to stock . I'm getting very frustrated now!!!

Thanks in advance for any help you cvan give me.

You could get another battery, or go to VZW & see if they can charge it, or get a external charger, or if someone you know has the same phone let them charge it.

Those are the obvious choices, But I was hoping someone in this forum knew of a way to charge it by getting into a different boot mode or a way to trick the phone into charging. I need to get it booted up so I can flash to original and then root it so I can get a ICS ROM loaded.

Thanks again for any help.

Only other way I know of is to make a factory cable. Motocache has a post about it somewhere on this site. I'll look for a link

Go to vzw and get the droid 2 extended battery it usually has around 50% charge on it new. It does fit the d1 so does the battery door
