I have Superuser now. But I don't know what I can do. Can I get Froyo 2.2? If so, how? Can I get free apps? If so, how?

2.2 is not out for the fascinate. So no.

No, you can not get free Apps. And quite frankly why would you want to screw over developers who spend a lot of effort and time on most of these Apps and just want to get paid for their work?

Rooting allows to to change the theme on your phone, remove vzw bloatware and to overclock the processor speed.

I would recommend looking at the development portion of the fascinate forums and do some reading.

You can get titanium and rom manager. Use rom manager to download and install some nice bloatware free roms and modified themes. Titanium will back up all your apps. I recommend the paid or donated version of both.
