I rooted my HTC Hero, now......

Hi all. I'm just getting to know my Hero again after rooting. I really, really want to change my boot animation back to the 1.5 Hero one or anything other than the ugly thing it is now. I downloaded Root Explorer yesterday and I'm looking for help with how to use the program.

Welcome to the forum. Root Explorer is an app that allows you to change or modify what is on your phone. It is the equivalent to Windows Explorer on a PC. You have to be really careful not to mess with some files or you will mess up your phone. You can look through it without harming anything and I would suggest you do that to get the feel of where everything is and it looks.
