I know there has been TOO MUCH discussion re Battery Left, especially in regard to the Seidio ex batt, but I still have not seen any suggestions, as to what the best/better app for determining battery strength, time remaining, voltage, etc, all the other parameters.

Any1 with an opion* as to what the 'preferred' app is?

I think battery left is the best. It takes into account average times till drops in percents and also takes into account mv readings. I have had good results with it.

I've never seen a battery app that even comes close to Battery Left.

For me it's the only choice.
