I get no sound when I use the keyboard or when touching the desktop icons.

The "audible selection" and the "audible touch tones" boxes in the sound and display menu are checked.

Sometimes when I touch an icon I will get the sound feedback but on the
next touches thereafter no sound feedback.

Thanks for any ideas.

This may sound like a dumb question, but is your notification volume turned up?

That was my first question. I turn all keypad/touch tones off as soon as I get a new phone, because they drive me nuts, but I'd figure if your phone was on silent or maybe even vibrate, maybe those sounds are deactivated too...?

I am talking about audible touchtones, there is no audible sound when
I type or touch the icons. All the volume controls that I know of or turned on.

Is the sound feed back from typing a "Notification Volume issue"?

I found it. It was the "silent mode" and "airplane" mode controls.
