I just had to brag I love technology and gadgets and doing anything that can improve performance....I just rooted and froyo my eris...all by myself! I was freaking out, and now it is just getting used to how different i feel everything is...and making it to my liking Thanks to everyone who posted links or tips and whatever...i am gonna be busy all day!

the other thing is...i liked the stock lock screen and the stock home screen bar at the bottom....is there any way to get that back?

Nope. The Froyo builds on the Eris are all AOSP. The lock screen which you had is part of the Sense UI. Now which Froyo ROM did you use? I rooted a couple for friends and have used Kaos Froyo and it is phenomenal.

i used the kaos froyo v37 i guess ive had the phone for a week and just got used it it..this version is just like my husbands moto droid. also anyway to change the color of the scroll ball flashing?
