I can't "trash" an app

I downloaded weather bug and now don't like it. I have tried to put it in the "trash" but it won't go away. How do you get rid of it?

If you dont like an app, you have to uninstall it by going to the marketplace then downloads, click on app ya dont like and then click on uninstall.

For future reference, that trash can is just to delete widgets/shortcuts. It just deletes the shortcuts on the home screen, but not the program itself
