Not sure this belongs in General or development.

I have written an APP for my HTC Rezound to do the following
1. Enter the 4636 hidden menu
2. Enter the 778 hidden menu (still working on this one)
3. Power off phone
4. Reboot
5. Reboot to recovery
6. Reboot to bootloader
7. List the partitions

It is in the Google Play Store as HZutils.
Nobody has yet downloaded it, tested it, nor rated it.

P.S. It does display an ad. If you click on an add once in a while I will get a few cents.

I just downloaded it, I think you did a great job. Very simple, I think it will become very useful, especially to those who are rooted. I'm not....... But I like being able to get into the hidden menu quickly.. Again, great job. I hope all goes well for you.

Sent from my HTC REZOUND using Droid Forums

I added the ##778# menu. it brings up the dialer and predials the number but you still need to click on the "call" button.

sorry I couldn't find a nicer slicker way.

Personally, I am sock GB rooted and waiting for the eventual ICS update. The latest I've read from androidpolice.com says it should arrive June or July. After the stock ICS, I'll make a backup and probably try some of the ROMs which are available.

I do not know much about using the Rezound on a GSM carrier like T-Mobile, but I have read about people trying it. Seems the pop in the SIM and change the settings to GSM, and basic calling functions work. However, texting and data have difficulty/reliability problems. I have read that some of the ROM writers are trying to make this easier and more reliable - but I do not know if they have succeeded. I am not aware of anyone flashing the radio firmware with the exception that the HTC/Verizon ICS Leaks have new radio firmware.

Regards,

Howard
