HTC 10 Teaser focuses on Camera Quality

Next week we'll be seeing HTC take to the stage and unveil their latest flagship device, the HTC 10. HTC has been periodically releasing a number of teasers which showcase the main features and selling points of their latest handset and according to their claims, the HTC 10 will be "the best ever smartphone for shooting photos and videos". That's quite a lot of promise to live up to, specially given their track record with their previous phones... We've seen a lot of great cameras on smartphones lately, so the HTC 10 should really impress in order to be worthy of this hype.

The HTC 10 will become official next week, on April 12. It's expected to sport a 5.1" or 5.2" screen with QHD resolution, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset, 4GB of RAM, at least 32GB of built-in storage, all the usual connectivity options, a fingerprint scanner, a 12MP rear camera, and 5MP in the front, and it will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The teaser itself doesn't provide much info on the camera abilities, but following in the usual #powerof10 formula, it does make the point that that the camera will be great and “you’ll see it”. With HTC further noting that they understand “how important a high-quality camera is to you” and that this has led them to “obsessively perfect every optical detail”.
