How to sync my contacts with Twitter on Droid?

I'm using Twidroid Pro 3.0.5 on my Droid and I can't get it to sync with my contacts. I had no problem with gMail and Facebook, but I can't seem to get Twitter to work. Any leads?

Though the sync interface is there for anybody to theoretically use, I do not believe (read: I haven't found yet) anyone has written a Twitter Interface to Android to sync with Contacts.

That would certainly be cool. Although I would wonder what would happen when some people with their 10's of thousands of twitter contacts tried to sync with the Droid Contacts.

I was hoping it would have a feature like Facebook where it would only sync with existing contacts. The first time I synced Facebook my 500+ friends all appeared on my phone and I quickly realized I needed to change my settings.

The Twitter app makes it easy to find anyone, I was just curious if anyone had found a backdoor or something. Thanks for responding.
