how to send contact info in a text?

How do you send contact info to somebody in a text without going and typing it all out? like if I want to send Joe's contact info to another friend.... When you go to share it only lets you email the info.. I did a search but didn't find anything but a thread with no answer.

You can send it in an email. Or if you have the barcode scanner app you can send it in a code that way. As for text messaging maybe you could copy paste?
