How to retrieve data if the LCD screen broke

update: just checked my DX2 and was able to connect a usb mouse, using a Y OTG cable and a wall charger, without a ush host app.
moving mouse wakes screen and can unlock screen
usb debugging does seem to be need to be checked though
power on DX2, connect usb device, connect usb power last
