How to remove the annoying My Magazine from home key.

How do I get 'My Magazine' from my home key? How to get it off my phone? I never want to use the app but it jumps in my face when I need something else quick.
I was in the middle of a bad rain storm trying to use the radar app to see where I was in reference to the heavy cells, right in the middle of it comes My Magazine.

Well probably can't remove it completely but go to my magazine and menu then go to setting and uncheck load my magazine with home button.

My Magazine doesn't start far enough to bring up a menu. When it comes up from my home key it wants me to accept its terms and conditions which I refuse.
Why would I accept T&C for something that I don't want or need in the first place. Good fodder for a class action suit.
I can find no reference to the home key under settings, applications.
Thanks

That's the catch. In order to disable the launch from the home key you must accept the terms and conditions. Then you can bring up the menu and check the disable home key option.

Why would anyone agree to t&c when they don't want the garbage in the first place? The only way to get the settings menu is to agree to t&c. Sounds like fodder for a class action suit.

Sorry rusty, I do feel for ya and understand where you're coming from 101%, but.... that's how technology always has and forever will work. Yes, it is 100% completely and totally for legal reasons, mostly for the company.

Your options are to accept it or refuse it. The former means you can use anything you want, the latter means you might as well get a flip phone. My old Nokia had weather updates and email too...and Snake!!

BTW I occasionally use the magazine app and it's really not that bad. It can actually be pretty useful if you heard about an article or something you want to read, only costs around $2 for the magazine, or you can just turn it off.

What gregorz meant is disabling the app. You can go to settings, application manager, swipe over to the All tab, and scroll down to certain apps that came on the phone to disable them. Unfortunately My Magazines isn't one of them.
