The man responsible for porting CM10 to many Motorola devices in years past has now found a way to get the latest version of Android up and running on the first generation Kindle Fire! Developer "HashC0de" has released his build of 4.3 AOSP to this beloved device. This Rom is an exact replica of what is now being pushed to both the Nexus 7 and Nexus 10. This is a rom and as such there are a few prerequisites. You will need to be running the fire fire fire bootloader, and you will need to have a custom recovery installed. This is a fresh rom and has a few minor kinks. Wifi is not working out of the box, but can be fixed with a simple adb command, the bootanimation is not crisp for the first 10 seconds of boot up, and there is no mic input yet. Other than that this Rom is working great. It also gives you all the new updates and features found in 4.3. Grab this Rom from the source link below!
