how to get apps to sync when running a new rom

I lost all my apps due to root, and am now running a rom and would like them to sync again. It started to but all the downloads errored because my wifi requires you to sign in. How do I get the phone to do this process again? I tried deleting and reentering my account and I've also tried the "sync now" option. Neither works.

You would have to wipe and start over. It'll only do it the first time you sign in I believe.

Yeah, unfortunately, you only get one crack at this. Wipe and start over is your only option.
