How to get 2.2 after 2.1 root

I currently have a rooted 2.1 on my droid. I tried a 2.2 download last week and it was very buggy. I'm not sure how to get back to a stock OS so I can get the normal 2.2 update. Any ideas?

How long did you try 2.2? It's not buggy at all.

You can get a signed version of 2.2 AND stay rooted by going to the News area, find the FROYO CIRCUS thread page 6 and then go to the post by Jrummy. I run it and it works great.
