How to delete Endpoint list entries in Navigation?

After spending several weeks readin forum entries and the online manual, I finally got my Motorola DRoid last Friday. After playing with it for a few days, I have a question (more to come) that is bugging me.

In learning how to use the Navigation function in order to establish a base for frequently visited locations, I had many incorrect entries (either address in contacts was in error or not clear, mispelled words, wrong keys punched etc- all of them including the use ones are in the list sites in my drop down list. How do I either selectively or totally clear/delete items in that list?

Take a look at the app Google Address Book....

It allows you to store addresses for quick navigation...
