Hey all! new to the site, and i'm sure i'll have questions about my new phone. first one i have is... why does my alarm clock only work when it feels like it? obviously, i've tried everything like the basics, but it still has a mind of its own. can't wake up for work late again!

Are you running a task killer? If so you're likely killing the alarm clock app and thus it's functionality. Either stop using the task killer or exclude the alarm clock (and other key apps) from it's kill list.
