How do you change menu background on droid x from black to white?

in the email options, there is a black/ grey background with white text. It's hard to read, and i would like it to be white background with black text. Is there a way to change this?

I'd definitely recommend against doing that. Especially on AMOLED screens, white draws a lot more power and will drain your battery quicker. I would use black backgrounds anywhere possible. There's more info on it at bGoog.com/about (bGoog.com is a site that has a black background version of Google for mobile phones.)
