How Do I save Apps in Astro?????

Hello I was wondering how to save apps in Astro. I must be doing something wrong. Thanks, Don't know if it matters but I'm rooted with Sholes (you would think a rooted user should know the basics of saving files)

astro main screen -> menu button -> select tools -> app mang/backup -> then just select the one you want
