How Do I Download An Update?

I'll be getting my Galaxy Nexus tomorrow and I want to make sure it's completely up to date before I begin with the apps. So I was wondering what do I need to do on Verizon to make sure I get all the available updates?

They will be pushed to your phone. The current is 4.0.2. Most come out if the box with 4.0.1, but will update to 4.0.2 automatically. You will be prompted about it.

Also ota official updates do not erase anything on your phone. So apps texts pics are all good when you update
