How do I Delete an App for good?

I want to remove forever an application I downloaded.

Don't like it.

It don't want to go away.

Help! :icon_eek:

I want to remove it completely from the phone, not just off the desktop. I tried holding it down and dragging it to the trashcan but it's still in my App Folder every time.

There are two ways, one way is to go into the app store, then click menu and then hit downloads, it will bring up all the apps you've downloaded, from that screen click on one and hit uninstall.

The other is to go into the settings > applications > manage apps > delete them from there

I could not find "menu" in the app store so I did the other and it worked great!

You can't delete the VZW installed apps like Visual VM or Amazon MP3...

Press the menu button (The one between the back and home buttons) on your phone

I searched delete on this website and this thread didn't pop up but when I google searched "droid how do I delete an app" this thread popped up. Why when I searched here did this thread not pop up? Hmmm
