What app allows you take pictures of your homescreen or whatever you are looking at?

there are a few, i personally use drocap. it's free in the market. there are others, but all require you to be rooted to use them

I use "shoot me". But you have to be rooted. I just shake the phone and bam. Then I use the photobucket app to upload them to my account.

nope. for whatever reason all screenshot apps require you to be rooted

The app "Shoot Me" has been reportedly working on SOME unrooted phones. Check the comments in the market link....

As was stated "Shootme" has been reported to work on some unrooted phones. Try it. But like others have also said most require root. I use Drocap and that requires root.

best you can do un rooted is to take a screen pic with a separate camera.

You want the goods....need to be rooted. That is, until someone comes up with a unrooted app.

Do a search on how to root...its not hard and there our tutorials....rooting will open up some doors for you. Don't be scared.

If you aren't rooted and you don't mind connecting to a computer install the Android SDK on your computer. This will allow you to take screen shots. I don't have a link to the tutorial for install or howto but I'm sure you can find it.
