Has anyone ran into an issue where you lose your 'items' when trying another ROM? I must admit I seem to be addicted to this game a bit and am afraid of changing roms b/c last time I did I lost my data.

Does anyone know where any temp or otherwise important files are stored for this game? I was thinking I could just copy those files and go from there.

Saw a post on this earlier today. Exact situation, the guy lost all his stuff.

And it will happen when you remove the root as well. It's a bummer. I think it's a bug in the system and it was reported a couple weeks back by RinTinTigger.

Well if you wipe to change ROMs, you will lose stuff. Use root explorer and go in and copy your jesus.dat file, then replace it after flashing a new ROM.

Well if you pulled it after losing them already...revert to a backup that had them and pull it.

I have done this 4 times in the past week with all of the UD updates etc. Including flashing everything back to fresh out of the box. This does work if you put the file back correctly.

This is one advantage of using Nandroid - easy to get into the files.

In addition to your equipment your Gold Ball count is stored in there too.

titanium backup lets you back up game data too
I've found that this works for me as well. Switched ROMs several times in the past few weeks and always got my 'stuff' back with Titanium.

Titanium backup is the best app that you can have. The dev deserves your money unlike many others. If you email him, within a day he will get back to you, happy to help. I love the app, and the dev.

What is the easiest way to pull the Jesus.dat file and then restore it? I really dont want to lose my stuff and was hoping Titanium would take care of it, but I am hearing that Titanium does not keep all your stuff.
