Can someone tell me how you know that you have a voice message on the home screen, I just got my phone and I cannot see on the home screen a grren dot on my phone. My blackberry storm always had a red X on the phone icon. The mail message has a green dot on it when I have a messge.

no, touch the top of the screen and drag your finger down to show all notifications in a drop down screen
