hello Mary and welcome,

I am fairly new myself, have owned my droid for about 2 months now.
This forum is incredible! there are a lot of very knowledgeable people in here and are very willing to help out.
i havent rooted my droid yet, and dont know if i will, but with help from this forum i did change my boot animation and learn about some great apps and functions of the droid i didnt know.

so again welcome and i know you will get some great info from these guys and gals!
