I have been an Android user for several years, after finding that several things that require "jailbreaking" an iPhone, can be done on a stock Android phone without jailbreaking it (or whatever the Android equivalent of it is)
Hoping for something where I can look for people's experience with apps (both positive and negative) as well as ask about "Looking for an app that does X, but with less aggressive ads / a less expensive IAP model" (after all, an honest programmer should be able to program as a career, not just as a hobby with no tangible 'reward')
That's not to say that I dislike all "FOSS" programs. But if the function is complex enough that a tech support team would benefit the user, an honest company that provides tech support and updates shouldn't have to go out of business by lack of sales when there's plenty of greedy developers that could lose 20% of their customer base and still survive.
Heck, if anyone wanted to make fun of greedy IAP models by coming up with a satirical story or parody, I'd love to see it.
