Hey there just bought my droid yesterday and was trying to read some good information off this site, there is so much!!!! Well had a couple of questions and didn't know the answers to them so i figured i would introduce myself and see if you are able to help me.
-My software is 2.0.1 i've been reading about the new version do i need it? if so how do i get it?
-Ringtones? Wallpapers? how do i get them on my phone?
-Apps, is there any app that is really cool that i should download?

Welcome aboard, jpeets! As with everything else, the best thing you can do is read, read, and then read some more. Start with the FAQs and then move on to whatever sparks your interest in the threads - you'll be amazed at just how much you can teach yourself!

Forget the top 5, list ALL of your apps


The OTA (over the air) update to version to 2.1 is being distributed now. Just be patient and you'll get it too.


Search for ringtones and wallpapers - there are hundreds of threads on each and as it is personal preference, it's all up to you.
